Yesterday, our BWHS Student-Artists attended our state competition in Little Rock for the 40th Anniversary of the Arkansas Young Artist Association!  In attendance were 1,588 students from 63 high schools across the state of Arkansas.  We took 41 students and 47 Two-dimensional pieces & 30 Three-dimensional pieces.  From these, we added an additional $2,500 to the years art scholarship; we had 8 First Place Awards of the 12 categories we entered; we won 25 awards overall & Kerryann Ptacek took Best of Show!!!! It was a HUGE day for the West Art Program.  How blessed we are to be here!  Below are the scholarships and awards list, so that they can be congratulated: (also follow bwhsart on Instagram for the upcoming documentation of the trip)
